I mean , Deni was aggressive as hell. It did feel like a superstar whistle but he kept on going for it gotta give him some credit he played great.

I agree. Why they didnt play more when the forwards were bricking is beyond me, just like why didnt we trap and double Deni all game.long.

Jabari only plays well when the team is ahead by 20-25 points. When the Rockets need him, he often fails. While he's only 22, Im afraid he won't get much better than this version.

Trade Jabari if the move improves the team. The Rockets need another gamer in that starting lineup. Jabari is not him.

as soon as Deni hit 30pts, Ime should have doubled deni and get the ball out of Deni's hands.

if other teams are doing it to KD, why the hell the rockets aren't doing it to other teams?

ball deny Deni then double. unless ime really pride his team so much of 1v1 defense, but then why zone defense? blazers wen't even that crazy from 3s.

This, I wish we had a Von Wafer "fug ya'll, amma drive and destroy that hoop" type of player, lmao. Shame that Cam had to go, but oh well.

Don't worry guys, Udoka isn't to blame because he's better than Silas.

    Right guys?

Yawn. These losses are hilarious when you realise just how staunch in defense of this inept coach some clowns are on here.

This game's even funnier than the - checks notes - 6 or so other games losing to the worst teams in the league.

I think Ime deserves a lot of blame for this teams offense and how KD reliant it is...

But man tonight these MFers shot 22% from 3, on WIDE open shots too, not bad shots...WIDE OPEN shots. They had a posession there in the 4th where they had five open or semi open threes and bricked every one.

Tonight is not the night I'd blame Ime for offense. If they shot a paltry 30% from three this is a blowout.

It really is a make or miss league.

a bunch of us here questioned the stone-udoka tandem in the offseason for signing dfs/capela and resigning tate/holiday/green while ignoring our glaring need for a dynamic guard who could attack the paint. and now here we are with a stagnant offense both from the clipboard and the players

Also IDGAF about seeding that much in the modern NBA with the play-in, I care a lot more about matchups so I'm not going to get too concerned with seeding. I'd rather be 5th seed and play the 4th seeded Lakers or something than be 2nd and play the Warriors or Clippers after they trade for someone to help their team or something. I mean we just went through that last year.

I'd love to have the 2 seed sure, not saying that, just that I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it.

Hopefully when we start to play more home games we'll start to get rolling and when we can actually get Sengun back.

Subpar offensive coaching gets more subpar without Sengun, a distributor and kick-out guy. Rockets missed 9 FTs too, so there you go.

KD's game-winner vs PHX was great, but a tie game isn't do or die. He missed *the* clutch shot tonight.

like any other player he keeps doing what he can get away with. in his case that means forcing the contact into the defender as much as possible. now why does HE get away with that more than 99.5% of the league’s players..
