We need an offense coach. JVG don't know how to play offense, period.

For anyone who didn't watch the game, it was clear that Yao did not want the ball. He went back to his pick-setting ways when the going got tough.

Do you guys really think JVG is going to get fired? It's NOT gonna happen. Deal with it.

It's only one game. We've lost to the crappy Hawks before.

In the meantime, we have T-Mac and Yao, Sura is coming back and it's obvious we're gonna make a deal in the near future.

i honestly can't think of anyone i've ever watched who has more careless turnovers per game than jj. like you said, he can just lose it dribbling up the court w/ almost no pressure. lots of guys average more turnovers but they're usually actually trying to do something. jj just loses it for no reason. it's amazing.

oh, and even though it annoyed me a little last season, i'm starting to become increasingly ticked with his shot selection. take your open 3's and shots off picks and that's it. he goes one on one or takes tough jumpers just b/c someone passed him the ball and he can sorta still see the basket. last year it was bad being the 4th option, but even as a 3rd option or less this year, yao and tmac are ahead of you. shots on your own should be at a bare minimum.

What would be cool is if CD or Les go to the newspapers and say how Van Gundy isn’t getting the job done. If Van Gundy is allowed to blast his players to the public, Van Gundy should get the same treatment.

Did JVG say he was really happy with this roster of players since he pratically brought most of them in? He got paid millions to coach a team filled with his hand-picked players, now it's not his fault when the team sucks?

    1) He WAS making an effort and NOT getting the ball

    2) Pretty much contradicted yourself from your first point. Which is it, Yao was dominating and the guards should have thrown him the ball, or Yao has no balls?

    3) Agree about the guards not throwing down low. But, you say throwing from the top of the key down to Yao in the middle of the paint is a bad angle. Yet, it is a straight line pass and something Yao is very comfortable working from.

    4) He is one of two stars on this team and a guy who has proved in his career that he can turn it on at any time despite previous shooting. You want him to take your shots in the 4th. But I do agree with you about better shot selection.

Bingo! Why Bowen continues to get minutes? There should be no reason why this guy should by in the game in front of Padgett or Boki unless it involves bad defensive matchups. I love Ryan's huslte but we need the shooting!

I wonder what excuses JVG would come up with after this poop.

Take the blame, Jeff. You did us in tonight.

    ok. DAOSHI

    Let me repeat this.

Did JVG physically make Mo Taylor miss that layup?

Did JVG through some ESP make Ward turn the ball over?

Why does everyone feel that Sura is going to have such a big part? The guy had back surgery and hasn't played ball in a while. Pike had a ankle sprain, and wasn't out half as long. Sura will be rusty, and most likely won't be 100% by seasons end.

No, but he is the one who put this mentally weak team together.
