I love Reed but damn is he a liability on defense.

You said if Deni didnt get so many fts we would have won the game.

My point is we lost the game more than Deni won the game. Going 8/36 if we hit our open shots we would have won no matter what Deni did. He could have gotten all these fts and Rox still win comfortably.

Moreover while Deni was good scoring 1 on 1 he cant score on traps and double teams if Udoka did that from the start Deni wouldnt have had so many possessions. Also a lot of those scores were transition buckets from offensive rebounds by the Portland bigs if we didnt miss so many shots Deni wouldnt have all these fast break opportunities. We did it to ourselves.

what's more annoying is he's passing up shots when the team need him to shoot the ball more. with sengun out, they need points from some where.

he passed up shots to give it to amen multiple times. out of all players, amen at the 3 point line. smh. j

Y’all need to stop with that dfs layup bullshit. A layup will not change the outcome of the game or change the momentum. Avdija was getting phantom calls, amen missing fts, and shooting abysmal percentage from the field and that’s why we lost

 

Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

 

I think I need a new rule this season.

Not counting FVV, if anyone else is out for any reason on a work night, dont watch a West Coast game.

 

We need an instant offense off the bench kind of player or two once deadline comes. Reed isn't terrible, but still inconsistent at best after that good streak early on. Dorian and Okogie are a double net zero. Holiday is playing like he's on a holiday lately.

Yes it is true, he scored 13 points off FTs alone, so if they stopped riding him into the lane he would not have had those points. I think this is important because we have to get through a guy that also foul baits in SGA. If the Refs are giving him EVERY call like tonight, realize that, realize you can't be physical with him that night and live or die with him making those shots because sending him to the line is worse than having him just make a floater or mid range shot.

Yes we could have made our shots, that's known, but I was just talking about this one thing in that post. I've said over and over again that we shot too poorly to win, if we shoot literally 1% better we win the game too.

But it's frustrating seeing defenders just do the same thing and of course Deni gets the call because he knows they are going to call it.

 

11-10 on the road now. Slipped to the 6th seed.
