Austin Reaves and Deni Avdija have no business getting the type of whistle that they do

not even top 20 players, but have a Michael Jordan or D-Wade 06 Finals whistle

Deni with at least 10 free throw attempts in 15 of his last 20 games…gimme a break

 

unfortunately it doesn't work the other way.

DD called Deni a superstar in the making and Deni torched the rockets.

 

Sorry to say folks but we all got to temper our expectations this season. We ain't winning a chip at least not this season. Unless there is some miraculous turnaround by the front office and coaching staff to get us some well needed upgrades, we ain't going anywhere. Might as well go on a vacation once the playoffs start to at least soften the blow.

 

Man we lost because the team shot 20% from three.

That's it. That's all. Yall can blame your favorite scapegoat and this or that but the team was bricking left and right, KD even threw up two AIRBALLS WIDE OPEN shots.

 

A brief summary:

Four guys showed up and played like they cared: KD, Amen, Adams and Tari. They went up against 8 (you know EXACTLY what I mean).

Jabari and Reed were total weakfish and should be completely ashamed of themselves!

Deni Avdija is an incredibly dynamic player and has figured out the NBA. He does not run out of energy and plays in relentless attack mode.

(Caleb Love remains a chump and always will be).

We get a rinse and repeat game in 48 hrs.

Avdija is just doing what he should be doing, he should be trying to convert and seek contact.

The Rox are the ones who didnt do what they should shooting 8/36 from 3 and missing point blank shots. You realize if DFS didnt blow that layup that lead to an open 3 we win no matter what Avdija did?

 

I was just kidding lol. KD was literally our only savior tonight. We have ZERO offense without him.

 

Poor shooting. TO’s. Thompson had back to back mistakes. Missing FT then over committing on Avala. Overall too many mistakes.

because he knows how to score at 3 levels he draws foul extremely well.

Yes? I'm not saying Deni shouldn't do it? Why are we so hard defending Deni anyways? He's foul baiting, it's legal, its fine, Harden did it every single night. I'm not mad at him for doing it, I'm mad at OUR team for not realizing it and still reaching and playing him aggressive.

I'm saying as a defender you have to realize what they are and aren't calling. 3 or so times Tari is riding his hip, Deni just waits and gets the contact and gets the call. How many times are you doing that before you realize they are calling that? Stop it.

I already know the Rockets shot poorly and missed several shots, I was talking about this one specific aspect of the game though.

 

I think I am at a point where I need to lower my expectations. Sorry to say this but this will be disappointing season unfortunately. They will make the playoffs but it’ll be a first round exit. I don’t think I am overreacting but so far we have seen a sample that will reflect the outcome at the end of the season unless some sort of miracle turnaround and we get some major upgrades but I don’t see it happening.

Thats the worst play of the game as that wasna 2 vs 1 situation and DFS had an open layup, and it lead to a wide open 3 so thats a 5 pt swing right there
