That's most disgusted and horrible game by Rocket I see so far. I really don't understand what's the JV's game plan. How many shots by Yao in forth quarter, 3 or 4? He shot 12/14 before 4th Quarter. Anyway, if we continue to play like this or JV's game plan is this suck, I have no doubt we will miss the playoff.

why when yao in a open post the guard do not pass the ball instantly ,instead ,they just run into the other way, yao in a open post ,the chance is very rare, and if you cannot pass to him as quick as possible , he will soon be covered by lots of defenders. Guards, please take care of the oppotunities.

There is no excuse for this collapse. No defense and a complete letdown on offense caused us to let this one go. The passing needs to improve a lot. We are missing Sura IMO.

As the coach, he should know what his guards are capable and incapable of and design the practice accordingly. Is it very hard to guess that teams may DT Yao? Lue and Ward were dribbling the ball away from Yao intentionally, and JVG didn't yell at them, WTF?

I think the PGs lost this game. How many times did Lue not throw it down low in the 4th? Geez, seemed like every play he looked right down at Yao and then ran away. And then, when he finally decided to pass it to Yao, he threw a horrible bounce pass out of bounds. Ward made some nice plays but then negated them all with stupid passes. What was that last inbounds pass that Barry stole? Horrible! Give Atlanta some credit. Thay turned up their defense and really attacked the passing lanes with their athleticm, but just dumb, stupid decisions did the Rockets in. And why are we not going to the 7'6 Asian dude in the 4th when nobody could stop him?

PLEASE CD PLEASE, do WHATEVER you can to get Daniels NOW!!!

I think this team should work on hitting their wide open shots... if they make just half of those (which is not too much to ask if they're WIDE OPEN!) in any of their losses this year, they'd be undefeated.

We can't seem to handle the ball very well either. Reminds me of the Rocket teams from the mid 80s.

why not take Ward and Lue out and put in Boki or Paghette? Ball was in Tmac's hands and Bokie or Paghette are better shooter and pass the ball to Yao better. This is a big mistake by JVG.

3 - 21 at 3ptrs tonight while our best 3pt shooter .583 sits on the bench in favor of Bowen.

Boki adds offense and rebounding, this team needs offense DESPERATLY.

Man! Jeff Van Gundy is out of his mind. He let Yao sat on the bench for like 15 minutes while he is going his carreer hig 40 point and instead the rox lose to the a team which i don't know who is in it. This is a sign of bad coaching and we need Phil Jackson if we going to win any championship.

Maybe he did... and maybe they just didn't execute.

What's more likely when you haven't scored in 5 minutes... JVG desining a play for Yao to get the ball in the post, or JVG telling his PG's to go willy-nilly and feel free to take all the jumpshots you want.

Its called execution... and right now, our PG's are playing scared, and gutless.

If this keeps up, I guarantee you that you'll start seeing a lineup of McGrady, Jackson, Taylor, Howard, and Yao (if the defensive matchups aren't too much to handle), for crunch time.

    Bingo,

This may be the one flaw in McGrady’s offensive game. Please take the ball to the hole when you are missing.

This one I will lay squarely on JVGs shoulder. His boneheadedness and arrogance cost us this game. He did not task his troops to go back to that which worked today aka Yao Ming.

This is my first painly loss of the season. A loss borne out of shere stupidity by the coach and the pgs or play makers on the floor. How can you go minutes without deliberately force-feeding YA the ball? Ridiculous. I thought I was watching the same stupid heats team from last two weeks then it hit me - both team coaches are brothers. I am a JVG supporter but there comes a time you draw the line.

Yao too was stupid for not calling for the ball albeit only secondary stupidity. Yao continues to be soft.
