    Hawks finally about to be free from the shackles of the Trae Young experience

    they’re better without him atp

    and no serious player would ever let it be known that the freaking basement dwelling Washington Wizards are at the top of your trade list…Trae is used to losing tho, so there won’t be any culture shock for him

    Trae might prefer to go to a contender, but if contenders aren't knocking on the door he'll prefer to go where he can get paid. Washington will give him the max and the fans will never complain about him being overpaid because he's the most relevant player they've had since Arenas.

    I can see them trading McCollum/Kispert for Trae Young/future draft picks...Trae will opt into his player option and he'll get bought out next season...the Wizards will have the most salary cap space next season and 2027-28 season.

    Some players improve. Some players get worse. Trae's defense has been very consistent, but his scoring has gotten worse while the league has gotten better.
