Is there any chance that he still becomes a super mega star? Cade Cunningham has. Jalen has shown huge flashes but has been injured this year. is there still a shot?
Not sure how we can even have this discussion when he's only played 1 game this season? We have no new information to go off of.
I'll answer this: No. A super mega star? No way. A good starter? Maybe, but he's got a long way to go. His best shot is upping his 3 point % and FTAs.
I can’t believe there’s not a thread on this already. Jalen will be Michael Jordan. or Jordan Clarkson The choice is yours.
Dumb thread that should not be in the GARM. The GARM is for Houston Rockets players and roster moves. The OP, a classic Jalen only fan, should seek out a Phoenix Suns message board to post crap like this.
leads #1 team in the east 4th in MVP tracker if GMs are asked who they pick first if all active players are drafted I could see Cade competing with Shai, Wemby, and Ant
Bball Ref has Alpi, KD, Murray, and Duren on that mvp tracker too He's just too inconsistent to be considered a mega star; maybe he's top 10 but still Pistons have played an easy schedule and they have stepped it up defensively with Ausar, Stewart and Duren helping
I think the ship has sailed tbh. He clearly has the physical talent to be a top 10 player and scorer - we saw it in spurts, sometimes actual stretches. What he doesn't have is the bit between the ears to leverage those talents effectively. I actually also think he probably should go and see a therapist for how much his performance is tied to his confidence levels. He comes across like an introvert masquerading as an extrovert because that's what the cool kid athlete is supposed to be. Hence the girl twice his age who probably bosses him around and does all the loud **** he doesn't want to do (I have friends like that, chill guys, feisty wives,) the nervous mumbling and no eye contact when he's not feeling confident, the complete change of body language when he's not feeling it. I think he is a good kid, I think he'll always work hard for his coaches and probably be a solid NBA player with a long career. I don't think he'll ever be any kind of real star at all, it'd take a herculean effort in changing his entire personality tbh. I'm not **** compared to any pro athlete, but I was one of those kids who was on all the teams, picked first for everything, played for my county and country in multiple sports as a youth player and you could not have told me in my playing days that I wasn't the goat. Jalen doesn't seem to have the same confidence/swagger that most athletes do, even though he's certainly been "the man" most of his youth career.
