That period of time…followed closely by Katrina and a personal reconnect with my faith and being part of starting a nonprofit that I witnessed so much of how easy I’ve had it and how not easy it is for a ton of people through…some books and some conversations with pastors I loved..completely changed my politics and brought me back to who I was before then. Objective reporters tend to put the phrase in quotations, to indicate that the term is a loaded one. I have a lot of issues with how he expresses it on this board and worry that he's melded his faith with politics in a dangerous way.
