Not directly related to the transfer portal, but another example of the trainwreck that is NCAA sports. Baylor basketball just signed a guy who played pro basketball for 5 years and was a former NBA draft pick.
This is far from the first, if you're talking about ~quasi-pros still having college eligibility: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-b...ew-defends-james-nnaji-signing-amid-criticism https://www.espn.com/mens-college-b...rlie-baker-players-nba-contracts-not-eligible
A million opt outs, no problem. After the strong finish I'm cautiously optimistic for what Arch can do next season.
Sark needs to shore up the offensive line and get some real weapons around Arch. I think showed enough toward the end of the season that next year could be special
Can't read the article, but him, the Louisville RB Brown and the North Texas RB (Hawking?) make a ton of sense for the Horns.
Kinda liked Livingstone as a vertical threat ... Grass ain't always greener on the other side.. But money talks
Have we gotten to the point that it's a big deal worthy of announcement that a player is returning for another year?
I honestly don't care as long as they don't have a current professional contract. If Lebron James retired and went back to school, I don't give a F if he played for whatever school he chose to play for as long as he was actually attending classes. The only thing I care about is if they are actually attending class.
I know he was considered a first round draft pick but didn't know he could have gone as high as number 2. They must have paid him a bunch of money to stay. NFL tackles make a ton.
