Trump was negotiating with Maduro for some sort of peaceful resolution (after the US started bombing boats off the coast of Venezuela). I would be very surprised if the entire negotiations were not centered entirely on OIL. Whatever was in those negotiations will likely be covered in detail during discovery. This can not end well for Trump or the DoJ's case against Maduro ... not unless Maduro was hiding drugs in the exported oil. Given this discovery and the general incompetence of Trump's DoJ, especially within the politically motivated prosecutions, Maduro will likely walk. Once again showing, Trump is exceptionally bad at getting things done.
