I believe prices will be cheaper under Trump than any Dem because they were last time Trump was POTUS because he isn't a believer in the Green New Scam.
well..when was it 3.50 in the past year in houston? it was 2.50 last december...it was 2.30 this december... want to try again?
During the beginning of the Biden admin Cute graph though. Still 3.07 which is in your skewed graph to 2.26 is quite a savings over the 500 or so gallons we burn each week. BTW, I pay 2.19 a gallon last week and that's how I know this graph is skewed.
What about healthcare? Texas’ average ACA premium increase among steepest in the nation The average monthly cost of a 2026 benchmark ACA plan in Texas has risen by 35% compared to last year. These costs are before tax credits are applied. The last time an average annual increase surpassed 30% was in 2018. https://www.texastribune.org/2025/10/31/texas-aca-premiums-health-insurance/
“Under my administration, we will be slashing energy and electricity prices by half within 12 months, at a maximum 18 months” “Prices will come down. You just watch: They’ll come down, and they’ll come down fast, not only with insurance, with everything.” “Starting the day I take the oath of office, I will rapidly drive prices down and we will make America affordable again. We’re going to make it affordable again.” “We’re going to get your energy prices down. We’re going to get your energy prices down by 50%.” Reality... Energy bills in US have increased 13% since Trump took office, new report finds The report pointed to the massive spending bill Trump signed in July, which it claims is "driving up utility costs and destroying jobs by removing cheaper, cleaner energy sources from the grid, all while funding new tax breaks for the oil and gas industries. Projects that were canceled or delayed since Trump’s election have led to a loss of 24,958.5 megawatts of planned energy generation, which could have powered more than 13.17 million homes, according to the report. Prices are expected to spike even further, especially as rising energy demands are driven by data centers and extreme heat, the study said. Texas had the highest number of residents in utility debt, with more than 943,501 households with overdue balances, according to research by Protect Borrowers. 165,531 clean energy jobs have been lost or delayed between Trump’s election and December 8, 2025. Companies have canceled, delayed, lost grant funding, or laid off staff at 324 energy projects in 47 states, representing over $53.05 billion in lost investment. Texas leads the nation in the losses, with 26 projects lost or delayed, 52,258 jobs lost or delayed, and $6,776,300,000 investments lost or delayed. https://abcnews.go.com/US/energy-bills-us-increased-13-trump-office-new/story?id=128346091 https://climatepower.us/wp-content/...mber-Energy-Crisis-Snapshot-RES-2025_11-1.pdf
Throw it on the pile. Pretty much any campaign promise has not only been broken, but the opposite is true in most cases.
You know how average prices work right? Just because you pay $2.19, doesn't mean another person wasn't paying $2.33 right down the road. For instance, where I live, gas prices on GasBuddy vary between $2.29 and $2.82 today. Pretty big difference. Lots of places are in the $2.30s or $2.60s. And for whatever reason, the county I live in the gas is cheaper than all of the surrounding counties. Also interesting is that gas is down about 25 cents from 1 year ago, but Diesel is down less than 1 cent.
The graph is 18 months to show 8 months of biden's presidency. Was gas in houston, tx not around 2.50 in NOV, DEC 2024 when biden was president? Then did gas prices not go UP when trump was president from jan 2026 onwards and now back down, slightly below last years prices around this time? This graph is not skewed. it's from gasbuddy. go look it up. it's AVERAGE fuel prices. if you found one place for 2.19, great. that's not the average. stop being a r****d. seriously. insane how he couldn't read the title of the graph.
Here in upstate NY, we are seeing prices from 3.14 per to 3.25 per. I have seen no change in unleaded plus which is what I run in my truck. All I can say is thank God I do not have a diesel still close to 4 dollars a gallon
Thanks to your crappy Obamacare. Don’t you ever pay any attention Deb? If you stop hating Trump for just a minute, you can think a lot better. You’re welcome!
Thank you for the reminder that the Democrats, Media, and Intel Agencies conspired to agitate the crowd and commit violent acts themselves to create this information operation. And Michael Byrd killed Ashli Babbit. The Democrats actually thought they'd get away with these dishonest acts without the public ever knowing of their deception. But now they won't -- as Trump shines a light on their crimes. GOOD DAY
Democrats lied and committed fraud relating to... - Russian Collusion - COVID - Mass fraud with daycares and healthcare - Climate change - Election fraud But you believe them when they say the J6 riots were not agitated by the hundreds of intel agents in the crowd or planning by Democrats and the media? As a reminder, the J6 Committee destroyed all of their evidence. Not exactly the act of an innocent person, huh? Sunlight is the best disinfectant. That's why liberals hate it! GOOD DAY
You do realize most of us were alive on that day, right? How sad to go through life looking for any mention of J6 and then feeling you have to respond in the way you did. No matter how much you try to memory-hole that day, there are many that will remember.
5 years ago today, the U.S. Capitol Building was attacked by a mob of Donald Trump supporters. Last year, Donald Trump issued pardons for over 1,500 individuals in connection to the riots.
You mean the way he can't just invade Venezuela without a congressional war declaration? The way he can't just rename things that were named by legislative act? Or abolish agencies that were created by statute? When he does it, who is going to stop him? Thune? Johnson? SCOTUS? Of course Trump can do it because he will keep doing what he wants until someone stops him. That will make other leaders look for allies who can put up a united front against the United States. You're also comparing a summer gasoline blend prices to a winter one. It is well known that summer blend gasoline is more expensive.
