Their forms are way different, but his percentages reminds me of Clyde Drexler shooting early on. Both of them super athletes and not natural shooters. Clyde eventually got it to “respectable” percentages for the era.. but I still always held my breath when he took a jump shoot lol
Young (pre-Rockets) Clyde is an interesting retro comp for Amen. Pretty similar size and strengths and weaknesses. Amen may be the better defender, and not quite as skilled with the ball in his hands/around the basket. Both superior athletes with excellent size and length. I'm firmly in the camp that even if Amen isn't a "point guard", he does belong in the backcourt. He has shown plenty of on-ball potential and needs reps to develop it, even if it's not consistently there yet. Relegating him to just standing around on the perimeter and cutting is a waste of his potential. Now, if for some reason he plateaus and never quite gets there, there may come a time when you move him to the 3 and accept that he's more of a super-roleplayer than a superstar. But we need to give him a shot at becoming the latter.
Coaching has been on a downhill path this year...things need to pick up soon or we are in real trouble
He must play 40 minutes a game or your whole offense is relying on Jabrari Smith. Stone sucks as a GM and this fraud of an offense will be exposed in the playoffs.
What happened to Adams’ free throw form? I noticed earlier in the season, he turned his body just a little sideways and he was making them. Now he squares up and bricking everything. We need to address this quickly as we go deeper into the season and then the playoffs, I don’t want to see any hack an Adams.
