too risky of a pass. if he was a lil closer to jabari then i would agree but after all the amount of time this team coughed the ball up, i wouldn't have risked it.
And Aaron Holiday played in the clutch instead of him. Are we even sure Holiday’s defense is better than Reed’s? Yes, he looks good but he gambles almost as much, has a way lower steal/block rate, can’t create offense at all, and is a far worse passer I need Ime to try and be more open minded
Ime doesn't do anything to help this team win - it is ISO...ISO...ISO...... We really need movement, when Alpi is in, he masks how poor our offense is.... Having a 37 year old KD initiating at the top of the circle is a recipe for a 1st round exit. Great D in the end won the day -but this game was pretty lucky, with Alpi it is a 20 point win. Phx went small all game and almost punked us. DD
Jordan Ott basically running circle around Ime whole night but forgor to double team KD on the last shot
we'll see. I think rockets are too soft sometimes. I feel like DB was always reminding the children to get up to play. Bari played so tough today, sometimes he doesnt bring it like that all the time. Last year Bari was ready to fight every night. rockets dont fight enough anymore. i need more hands being thrown. i need to see this team with Fred.
I think that bodes really well for his shooting improving. Is he going to be a knockdown shooter? Probably not. But a Jason Kidd like improvement is not out of the question, especially with the advancements in shooting coaches since then. You never know, maybe by year 5 he’ll be shooting 35% from three!
eh, going off script even if Amen throws it down... leaves the Suns down 2 with 3-4 seconds to get one last shot off. Plenty of things to complain about in this one, I don't think the last play is one of em.
In game-closing situations, the most important thing is getting off a legit shot. You can see from the video passing to Amen would have been extremely risky and probably would have been a TO.
Totally agree with you. He's a liability in a lot more ways than Reed, a heady veteran who doesn't make heads-up plays, a defensive specialist who can't really guard that well because of his size, and a three-point specialist whose shot has abandoned him. At least he can hit free-throws, I guess. I'm good seeing very little of Holiday going forward, I'd much prefer seeing Reed play through his mistakes, or if we're gonna bench him, then bench him for someone more impactful.
I keep hearing folks want more ball movement - but we are not a good passing team... I'm already appalled by how many passes get intercepted - and y'all want to put more of em out there? i dont get it.
