It is a lot to ask, but if we meet the Bills, it is at home. The Bills loss that made this possible was epic.
My concern is actually about the defense. Still dominant but there's been leaks the last few weeks. Missing Lassiter probably hurt this past week when the 1st team was in. They've had to do so much this season that I'm concerned they might have worn down a bit. The extra day off is a blessing even if it's weird we're playing on Monday night. That said, I feel like this we'll be watching the last game of Aaron Rodgers career.
They were up, 30-7, on Arizona with 5 minutes left in the 3Q. I think from that point forward, they checked out for the next five quarters, esp with Azeez out v Raiders. And no Lassiter definitely had an impact v. Colts; fully healthy, I don't think they give up 17 first-half points to the Colts. Not concerned at all with second-half/second-string performance. IOW, defense is fine. They're going into Pittsburgh fully healthy with some additional rest.
The Texans are #4 in TOP, so the defense should not be worn down at all, they should be more refreshed than almost any other defense in the league.
I believe that is Cap's mantra: 1) no turnovers 2) control the ball 3) D get stops & turnovers 4) 3 pts > 0 pts
They showed up against the Chargers mostly. My biggest concern is if the defense is not healthy. Our backups are terrible.
No league for old men. I do want the Packers to win. I need everyone with injuries on their D-line to advance, just in case.
