CJ has typically been allowed more movement with bootlegs and scrambles in the playoffs?? If they get Steelers defense thinking more, it would help everything on offense.
Hopefully we can continue to break through more barriers this year The Steelers' back-end D is AWFUL and Boswell might blow a crucial kick If CJ/Caley can get their heads out of their asses, we win this thing rather easily
If you are on a 737-800 (very likely), 737-8Max (guaranteed), 737-9Max (guaranteed), Airbus A321neo(guaranteed). you likely will be on a airplane equipped with ViaSat is is sufficient with streaming the game. Airbus 319/320 are about less than 50 percent, 737-900ER is about 60 percent equipped with ViaSat. Our E-175s (fleet conversion is almost done) have Starlink now. Great for streaming the game. I think most Texans game are closer than we would like. I think we will bend not break on defense. Rodgers gets the ball out quick so I don’t think our pass rush is going to get to him for sacks, but will disrupt his ability to go long. He doesn’t really have the receiver group that should be able to get open if Lassiter is playing. I predict we win by about 10 points. I would like for the Texans to play more of a pass first offense this game, but it would be way off script for Demeco. It comes down to CJ being on his game. If he is, we should remain in control the whole game.
Steelers fan here. The Steelers are HORRIBLE. Prepare yourself for borderline unwatchable football where the Steelers will find a way to hang around and make you guys play horrible football, too. Football purists will hate this game. It’ll be full of WTF and “yeah, we need to get rid of that guy” and “how do you not score there?” moments. Turnovers will be crucial. A lot of penalties. Tomlin will have these guys unprepared. I’ll continue my familiar cycle of I love this team, I hate this team, I love this team, I hate this team, etc That said, final score: Steelers 23 Texans 20
I'm so glad the Texans don't have to worry about Lamar and his legs. So many times he extends drives on key 3rd and 4th down situations.
So true. This is gonna be an ugly game only Texans and Steelers fans can appreciate. I would caution Texans fans not to be overconfident. Steelers looked like a cooked goose against the Ravens, especially after the failure at the end of the 1st half. But beware as the Steelers, over the years, have won more games they have no business winning than any other NFL team (according to my "eye test"). If CJ and the offense take care of the ball and avoid TOs, Texans should take this because they are simply the better team. Steelers can only win by dumbing the game down to unwatchable madness and winning the TO battle.
Do they?... I think that's mostly reputation. The Steelers haven't won a playoff game since 2016, including four straight Wild Card defeats. They'll steal some regular season games they probably don't have a ton of business winning - but they're an incredibly mediocre team the past three seasons. And let's not forget: the Texans have won their last two Wild Card games - to teams better than the 2025 Steelers, and teams we were sure were going to give the Texans trouble - by a combined score of 77-26. It's the playoffs, Rodgers has a lot of experience, and the Texans are on the road - *anything* could happen. But I don't think Pittsburgh is better than the Texans, nor good enough to drag the Texans into their slop.
Now THIS is a great post! I just checked - I'm on a 737-700 on United 2856 EWR to DFW. I didn't see 700 above ... what are my odds? Signed, Global Services member who loves United!
