I do too. I’d rather play Buffalo (I think - mostly because it would be in HOU), but it doesn’t really matter at this point. If I was in the NFC I’d be bending over backwards to play the Panthers, but the AFC is wide open and all the teams are tough.
I don't like the prospect of playing the AFC central winner. Ravens can go off any game. Steelers are just plain dirty. I'd like to see the seeding rules changed so the division winners all get in automatically but all seeding goes by win/loss records. For playoff teams with the same w/l record, the first tiebreaker would be winning the division title.
How hard can it be to stop the Raven's zone read option. It can't be that hard. just watch Army, Navy and Air Force film. Tell them, it's not that hard: Going to be anxious watching that SNF game. Usually it's just background noise.
Mentioned it to my buddies after the TD and nobody knows: why are certain Polynesians (Samoans, Tongans, etc) such huge people?
If you look closely enough on the Texans bbs page, you might find a thread titled something like "Playoff Scenarios"
That’s the script I’m writing unless the Chargers take out NE in which it would be Buffalo in H-town RD2
cribbed from owa: I want someone in Hollywood to produce a dramatic reading of some of the best doom and gloom posts on this thread [it was a full-season thread], then have Morgan Freeman’s voice say “The 2025 Houston Texans won 12 games.”
That’s fair. I could also see NE winning their matchup bc Vrabel is a good coach, Henderson is explosive af, and I like Maye a lot. But yes they’re very unproven and their schedule was a joke.
