I kinda was too just because it seemed so stupid. I get it’s the rule..but if I’m that ref, I’m not throwing that flag for THAT.

Win and guaranteed 5-seed on the road vs AFC North winner tonight. Losing will likely drop them to 6 or 7 seed likely vs Jax. Should also be mentioned 5-seed could very well mean a home game instead of a road game vs Buffalo later in the playoffs. My personal feeling is the 5-seed is worth playing for, but as you can see, opinions here vary

If the Texans win, they can clinch the AFC South title and the No. 3 seed (with a Jaguars loss) or lock in a Wild Card spot (No. 5/6/7) with a better seed than a loss, potentially hosting a playoff game; a loss forces them in as a Wild Card (No. 5-7), likely playing a tougher road game, possibly against the Jaguars or another top team, and losing the chance for the division crown, dropping them lower in seeding depending on other AFC results.

    If Texans WIN:
    • AFC South Title & No. 3 Seed: A Texans win AND a Jaguars loss to the Titans makes Houston the AFC South champion and secures the No. 3 seed.
    • Better Wild Card Seed: Even without the division, a win helps secure a higher Wild Card seed (No. 5, 6, or 7), improving their playoff matchup and chance to host a game, per Houston Chronicle sports.

    If Texans LOSE:
    • Forfeit Division: They lose the chance to win the AFC South title.
    • Lower Wild Card Seed: They fall to the No. 5, 6, or 7 seed, depending on other results like the Bills and Chargers games, notes Bolavip sports.
    • Tougher Matchup: A loss likely means a tougher first-round opponent, potentially a road game against a strong AFC North or West team like the Jaguars, Steelers, or Broncos.

Pierce shouldn't have put himself in that position. If Azeez Al-Shaair had bumped an official they would be saying that he needs to keep his composure.

So Jags instead of the Ravens/Steelers. Texans don’t fear the Jags.

I prefer as high a seed as possible. Even more, I don't like watching us lay a turd at this time of year, no matter who is playing...

That sack by Garrett was pretty weak. The QB kind of fell down and Garrett kind of fell on him

Not that he doesn't deserve it, but you'd like the record setter to look a little more heroic and a little less like an accident.

Certainly not saying it’s not possible. But that 2nd team defense doesn’t look up to task

Division is gone. Jags are up 41-7 with 6 minutes to go.

Yeah, but are you ranting and whining about how unfair it is? Agree, it was soft, he said it once which is fine but he went on and on...

Davis Mills isn't gonna take a sack, I'll give him that.

No, I’m ranting and whining that the hotels.com Bellboy ad wasn’t on yet today.
