I don't think there's zero chance now, but it's lower than it was with Fred, and it was already pretty low.

We are right on the bubble of "real contender" status IMO

 

Rockets 2 main goals this season should be:
1) manage KD's minutes (low 30s/game)
2) win two 2nd round games

If those don't happen, it will basically negate any legit championship hopes the next two seasons.

 

This is not a worst team or a bum team wirh AD out there. Lol

 

Yea healthy AD is an absolute beast. Probably still a top 6-7 player in the league when healthy.

 

LOL get a life dude. They both sucked today. How you gonna start cherry picking the +/- stats when no one has cherry picked them so far. We just use it as is.

I don’t think the Rockets will part with their youngsters. And probably rightfully so. So I don’t see it unless it’s for a bunch of contract fillers and a few first rounders.

Rockets have a huge Home Away discrepancy, so at least there's that.

The conference record is garbage. We've probably played "extra" West games on the road. DEN twice, Utah twice, Mavs twice

 

Home - Away for the top 6 WC teams

Thunder: 18 - 16
Spurs: 17 - 17
Nuggets: 15 - 19
Rockets: 12 - 20
Lakers: 15 - 17
T-Wolves: 18 - 17

(Excluding OKC's home record), Rockets have both the best home record AND worst road record of the top 6.
They also have the best +/- of any team in the NBA except OKC.

So, cheer up! Things are not looking bad at all. Once the west coast road trip ends next Sunday, Rockets will have the most home-heavy remaining schedule in the NBA.

The Rockets have had an Abysmal Road Record the last months for some reason........toddlers.

 

We are trash.

 

The Mavs are 9-9 with AD and if he were healthy would probably be right in the race with us. Their wins include other playoff teams like Detroit and Denver too.

AD is a beast when he plays, probably the best defensive player or most impactful defensive player in the NBA actually...bro just never plays.

 

1. I did not realize KD was such a p***y
2. We’ve taken on KD’s personality as a team
3. Ime refuses to learn, consistently allows us to give up threes and guys get frustrated with his schemes so they just half ass it.
4. We are a weak team mentally
5. There’s a lot of quit in this team

PS Capela is not an NBA player, get a refund on that fat ****.
