Baron Davis - Move to the West (w/o Mash) leads to 0-6 start, and is out because of his back again. Think he'll take back his request to be traded? Eddy Curry - Suspended to start the year, team 0-4, and his agents demand a trade during his contract year so he might get better numbers. Carmelo Anthony - Probably had the worst off season imaginable, and opens the season under heavy expectations and pressure. Instead, his turnovers are up and he's making less shots despite taking more of them. Nuggets are at the bottom of the Pacific. Richard Jefferson - He got his contract, only to see Martin leave and Kidd and Zo demand out as well. He's left on an island as Nets start off 2-5 and are -11 in point differential. Jason Williams - On the heels of his best season as a pro, Williams and the Griz are in a tailspin. His career rating is just under 70, but this year it's barely cracking 33. Latrell "Feed My Family" Sprewell - After publicly ranting about a paycut from his $14.6 million salary (9th highest in NBA) is insulting, Spree has gone out and let his play do the talking for him: career low in scoring (13.4), rebounding (3.2), and assists (2.4). Persuasive argument for the veteran minimum. Al Harrington - After convincing Indiana to let him go to a situation that will allow him greater opportunty, Al's found a home in Atlanta. He's playing more minutes (37) and taking more shots (14) than he ever has. Oddly, his FG% has plummeted and his scoring, assists and rebounding have increased only slightly from last year..... Ron Artest - I don't need to explain. Qyntel "Who Let the Dogs Out" Woods - His career may be over, no matter the outcome of the investigation. Evan
All I know is that it ain't Artest. It seems like he didn't even realize his benching was supposed to be a punishment. In his world, he's probably seeing everything coming up daisies.
what exactly did qyntel do with dogs? i've heard it brought up so much yet never saw the story on espn or anything.
Qyntel Woods is the only one on the list who is about to have no job, so he seems the obvious choice.
I agree with you there, Artest just sees it as he got what he wanted, some time off to stick this CD in everybody’s face while they interview him.
Carmelo Anthony is probably the most miserable but Qyntel Woods might not be playing anytime soon... I voted 4 QW
http://www.nba.com/blazers/news/Trail_Blazers_Take_Action_With-119542-41.html Trail Blazers Suspend Woods October 12, 2004 The Portland Trail Blazers have announced today that the team has suspended forward Qyntel Woods without pay, pending the club's investigation regarding allegations by Multnomah County for dog abandonment and by Clackamas County for dog fighting. The club's investigation will include a more detailed and hopefully, forthcoming conversation with Qyntel. "We are deeply disturbed by the developments in this case and we believe that suspending Qyntel is warranted and necessary," said Trail Blazers President Steve Patterson. "We have said from the beginning that we are taking this situation very seriously. This organization will not accept this type of behavior and if these allegations prove to be true, and if further steps are needed, we will not hesitate to take them. These allegations are deeply disturbing to us and we know our fans feel the same way."
OK, I know everyone on this board hates Melo, and he's struggled the first week (check his #'s for the last week's games....even Chad Ford who hates Melo has given him props and said he's not hte problem), but how the hell is he winning this poll? Ron Artest quit on his team to make a CD. Qyntel Woods is scum. And you people are voting for Melo?
I think as far as Latrell is concerned, he's bringing it down a notch cuz he feels he's underpaid. I think if Sam was the one doing something like that I can agree, but can't believe Latrell is doing it.
Well if you are answering the title then it is melo having the worst season because more was expected, but after i answered i saw that the poll had a different title... it is definitely baron davis having the most miserable season.
Baron Davis - He lost his teammates once he asked for a trade, I voted for him. Eddy Curry - The only thing wrong about him is what he thinks about himself, he's not good enough to be a max contract guy and finally! the Bulls have accepted this and stopped trying to build around him. I guess they're trying to build around Kirk Hinrich, he is their best player so that ain't such a bad idea. Carmelo Anthony - I don't see why people are piling up on him now-a-days, he didn't start the season on the right foot, so what? If you've seen the Nuggets play you would know that the only starter who has been playing close to how he should be playing is Kenyon Martin. For that team to start playing well they need Nene and Camby to come back, Andre Miller is having a hard time this season and once he starts playing up to his abilities the Nuggets will be alright. Richard Jefferson - What can you say about him? He's proving the people who said he was nothing without Kidd wrong, he can do things on his own but he just can't win on his own. Jason Williams - Why is he on the list? Latrell Spreewell - What a douche. The only reason I didn't vote for him was because he's old and not that important to the Wolves success. Al Jefferson - He should be the example given to Peja, Vince, Baron, and whoever else asks for a trade later on this season. Sure you can go and play better individually, but don't be upset when you get sent after you start losing. Ron Artest - He's just crazy, he needs professional help, he really does need some time off. Qyntel Woods - What a crazy orginization those Trail Blazers are, they do the right thing and trade some bad seeds away in Rasheed Wallace (although he isn't one,) and Bonzi Wells and then they just reload on them year after year. Still can't vote for him because he sucks anyway...
