From what I gathered and thought on after that insane press conference is they don’t even know. They are obviously flying by the seat of their pants and the military doesn’t do political regime change. If past is prologue though Trump will lose interest tomorrow and start tweeting about Rosie ODonnell and leave Little Marco to the regime change and you’ll probably see very little happen in the next few weeks as little Marco has a series of back channel meetings with the current Maduro VP lady and the leaders of the Venezuela military. Everyone will be interested in keeping the Army and Marines on those ships, and not much will change in reality other than corruption with involvement of the oil and gas oligarchs. If we see any military action I think we’ll see them do land operations around the oil reserves and some sort of makeshift military base established on the fly. So yeah my guess is not much else will happen militarily but a ton of tax payer money spent, and a large scale sell off of Venezuelas reserves. Also I predict Jared Kushners private equity will have their hands on everything done here. Be on the lookout to see how the Saudi wealth fund oligarchs position themselves here in coordination with Jared.
Big things to watch: Since the current Maduro regime staying in power will be viewed as a puppet regime who pulled a coupe on Maduro, will an opposition political leader emerge, and what kind of movement will follow behind that leader? I suspect right now taking Maduro out will be viewed as pretty popular because he was a terrible president. So those who opposed him will be vocal about how great the US and Trump are and that will provide great propaganda for Trump that they are liberators. However that propaganda honeymoon won’t last just as it wouldn’t last if let’s say for example China abducted Trump and made a deal with JD Vance to let China call the shots for the US and steal our natural resources. So watch out for what opposition leader emerges in the coming weeks or months. That’s the main thing I’ll be looking out for that’ll really dictate what happens next.

All that money to conquer and defeat abroad, while Americans just want their lives better, as they watch their healthcare and home insurance premiums skyrocket, while the arms dealers, oil barons, and billionaires cheer.on the wars abroad. Screw the public golf courses. National Parks, and VA hospitals already understaffed and closing. The assault force, flying in slow and highly vulnerable helicopters, took desultory small arms fire coming in but not the antiaircraft buzzsaw they should have run into over Caracas given the Venezuelans have had four months to prepare for war.
