Following the poster late last week and the first photos the other day, Amazon Prime Video has now released the official teaser trailer for the second season of their live-action adaptation of the “Fallout” video game series. “Fallout” is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them above The new season will reach into the lore of one of the most beloved games of the series – “Fallout: New Vegas”. The series takes place fifteen years after the events of the games. Along with the various returnees, the new trailer offers first looks at Justin Theroux as Mr. House and how his story heavily plays into the new run. i kinda already forgot what the 1st season was about. knew i should've waited until they put out 3 seasons so i can binge.
Thought the trailer was good, but it does assume you remember where it left off. They are staying true to the nostalgia of the game and given the discovery to come that is a smart move. The story is fun. So no need to change it.
Big fun. I'll definitely be rewatching the first season, skipping the parts I remember, at some point before this.
Im back-and-forth on Justin Theroux - love him sometimes, cant stand him the rest of the time, but Theroux as Mr. House from New Vegas looks like its going to be one of the times I really love what he's doing.
i never played the game. is the series true to the game? or is it like halo where they added unnecessary drama while the real video game story is more exciting?
Season 2 has been great so far. This is the best video game show TV adaptation in existence. It is hilarious yet touching. Amazing cast BTW, props to the casting director.
Got caught up last night. This show is brilliant and awesome and fun. No idea where it's going but I'm along for the ride.
Liked the Brotherhood scenes, and maximus’ obsession and lust for violence shines in contrast to the part of his that wants to do the right thing. Did not care for the robot fight as much, but liked everything else. Lucy and legion scene was a little off for me, but did not mind McCauley in his role. Just the whole thing seemed to stutter along. The cooper ghoul continued to deliver. So mixed bag for me, but some strong scenes that were emotionally consistent and flawed for the main characters development.
