I'm very sorry to hear that news. FWIW coming from me, I fully believe that your mother is very much alive and enjoying paradise with Jesus and her previously passed loved ones. Jesus will save and fix all of us.

I will have to disagree with you.
I'm a Director of Dining Services in a Nursing home and physical rehabilitation center.
Our facility has 6 segregated units ranging from short term rehab to dementia units.

We have a robust crew of social workers, physical therapists and an active activities department.
I have been in charge of integrating an in unit dining program instead of the old school tray line delivery system.
My staff and I engage with our residents daily.
I also have a full service cafe slated to open in March for visiting families and residents diet allowing.

This is a county run facility with 250 beds.
Not all nursing homes are the same.

If anyone is ever in Albany I would be very proud to show it off.

A good death is almost as important as a good life. Dying without dignity is one of the worst things
