I really think you need to understand that there was more reasoning than Kennedy being assassinated for the decision to name the center after him. I suggest you read the article below about the history of the Kennedy Center, and Kennedy's huge role in it all. Maybe then you can better understand why slapping Trump's name on it has stirred up anger.

Come on man, you really believe that? You think it's ok to bomb all the schools, hospitals, homes and slowly starve kids to death? You think it's ok to shoot down kids and blow their limbs off as they seek food?

They haven't had an election since 2006. Only a small fraction (around 8%) of the current Palestinian population was even old enough to vote in the 2006 election.

 

It's completely unnecessary and wrong. It diminishes the legacy of one of the past century's most important public figures and our nation's stature, and has created yet more division.

I do and I think the Israelis should show Hamas, Palestinians the same amount of compassion that the Palestinians, Hamas showed the Israelis on Oct 7th. It's the only thing that the Palestinians, Hamas understand.

Yep, Hamas put babies in ovens /killed parents in front of their children and did all kinds of unspeakablr things, so I guess what goes around comes around. Like I said, the Palestinians not only votes for this but the majority were on board with what happened on Oct 7th. The Israeli's have shown more restraint than I would have. Yes, RFK Jr serves in Trump's administration because Kamala told him to pound sand when he tried brokering a deal for his endorsement.

RFK Jr's entire family thought his run for president was a mistake and tarnished their family's legacy. Since accepting a job working for Trump they've been even more outspoken against him. Even the man's wife has tried to distance herself from her husband and Trump's policies.

It's not a surprise that it's not a big deal to you, but to others it is. It's not a huge deal to me personally, but it is further proof that Trump is a complete sack of **** human being and poor leader.
