I do not support open borders, unlimited immigration, or giving everything for free to everyone who arrives. In fact, no U.S. government in the last century has implemented anything like that - immigration has always been regulated, and social programs have eligibility requirements.

Also, since you seem focused on fraud from immigrants as a driver of cost, let’s compare it to corporate fraud. Only about 3% of large corporations are caught and fined for fraud, including Medicare (see Rick Scott's Columbia/HCA for a famous case) and securities fraud, but estimates suggest 10–15% may actually be engaging in fraudulent activity. Fraud is harmful and needs consistent enforcement, regardless of who is committing it, even if it involves the President or politicians you support.

So if the concern is fraud, it makes more sense to focus on the much larger impact of corporate fraud, likely in the trillions, rather than blaming a tiny fraction of the immigrant population.

The theft in Minnesota is only the tip of the iceberg. The truth is that government theft of taxpayer money is endemic throughout the federal government and U.S. states, particularly in Democratic states such as California, New York, and Tennessee.

Or when his corporation, The Trump Company, committed a 15 year tax fraud scheme to tune of over $500m. Or when he lied about the value of his assets to pay less taxes. Or when he funneled millions in donor funds to his hotels. Not to mention his close relationship with billionaire money launderer and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
