Maybe it’s the Haliburton effect, with teams taking calf injuries much more seriously, but there does seem to be a sharp rise in calf injuries this year.

 

Big time trap game

This is a legit trap game.

Rockets are coming off two blowout wins and are feeling good about themselves, facing the worst team in the NBA. It doesn't matter the coach or the players, we all know the Rockets franchise DNA is to make things much more difficult than they should be.

The problem is not only do the Pacers have the worst record in the NBA, they are legitimately playing the worst of any team right now. Even without Alpi, the talent gap is so huge. Pascal Siakam ain't about to erupt for 40 and the Rockets have 3 guys who can make things very difficult for Mathurin.

The bench brigade should see a lot of time. I want KD to pop in 30 in 25 mins and just sit down midway in the 3rd quarter. Rockets should absolutely crush this team in the paint and on the boards.

I'm also interested to see how well Aaron Nesmith can guard KD.
