Don't forget his newest corrupt pardon which will cause thousands of victims to get nothing from the suspect which they were legally owed from a jury.

He's so corrupt that his supporters are so utterly dumb

He's a white collar criminal himself, so those types aren't worthy of prison to him it seems.

More than 1,000 people submitted statements attesting to their losses, according to prosecutors, who characterized the victims as “hardworking, everyday people,” including small business owners, farmers, veterans, teachers and nurses.

“I lost my whole life savings,” one wrote, adding, “I am living from check to check.”

I read a post on Reddit that this pardon is really about Peter Thiel and his cadre of weirdos making "libertarian" city states in Latin America.
They already have a city on an island in Honduras that the current government is trying to take back. Thus the support a corruptible narco president.

Good for you. Most people aren't happy with the economy right now or with the future outlook.

There are a lot of issues, but no need to dig into them now. You are trusting this administration's statement that the economy will take off. Bessent did say it would take off in Q4 and boom by May 2026, with 3%+ growth, which is actually pretty normal historical growth. We have specific dates to judge their promises, so we will know soon enough.

I just do not want to hear promises that keep shifting as deadlines pass while everyone moves the goalpost.

In most cases, I am against pardons and commutations (clear over prosecutions being the exception). I don't see any good reason for Trump to pardon (or commute the sentences of) all these financial criminals. I would guess he sees himself in them.

As in, I can empathize with financial criminals who committed millions to billions in fraud. AND / Or, it's 'you give me something, I pardon you.'

Someday, we are going to have amend the pardons power.

US Supreme Court's conservative supermajority deals Trump 2.0 a defeat
on bid to unilaterally federalize the National Guards

The conservative-majority court’s order represents a significant political victory for governors in their escalating battle with Trump over
his authority to go against their wishes and use federalized troops on U.S. soil.

    the order said.

“.... the Government has failed to identify a source of authority that would allow the military to execute the laws on US soil,”
“Thus, the Government has not carried its burden to show that (the law) permits the President to federalize the Guards
in the exercise of inherent authority to protect federal personnel and property on US soil.”

    The USSC wrote that

the president failed to explain why the situations in California / DC / Illinois / Oregon warranted an exception to
the Posse Comitatus Act that limits the military's ability to execute laws on U.S. soil.
