Would you rather: 5 seed at Pitt/Balt or 3 seed hosting Jax? 5 seed is most likely scenario by a long shot btw. If Jax loses and Texans win then it’s likely Texans are hosting Jax according to playoff machine. I don’t see Buffalo losing to Jets. Other scenario (assuming Jax loss and Hou win) would be Chargers beating Denver, which gives Texans Buffalo at home.

Home game would obviously be nice but Texans are going to be playing the weakest AFC playoff team if they are the 5 seed, albeit on the road.

All I know is that Brock Purdy is the best Mr. Irrelevant QB I've even seen. In fact, there are a lot of really good quarterbacks compared to Stroud. But, I'm hoping for the best, and that Stroud does just enough to keep us winning, with our defense carrying him through each game from here on out. Our defense can make any great QB struggle. We just don't need Stroud going into turtle mode under pressure.

Texans-Colts (CBS) and Jags-Titans (Fox) set for noon on Sunday.

    Ravens-Steelers SNF.

Allen re-injured his foot in the game today. Having him close to 100% so he can be his normal scrambling threat is mandatory for them to do anything in the playoffs. There is a chance Allen doesn't play, and they take the mentality that they will play whomever they get matched up against.

    So my guess is:
    #1 Denver bye
#2 New England versus #7 LA Chargers
    #3 Jacksonville versus #6 Buffalo
    #4 Baltimore verses #5 Houston

Don't like to play the Ravens (and idc that they're a different team), thats what we said about gsw last year. Some teams just got your number, just like we own the Bills. Lamar likes to play against us

CJ goes thorough stretches where he just disappears, makes a horrible throw or something just goes wrong...........he doesn't have that Josh Allen gene that I was hoping for, but I do love the kid, and I do think at some point the game will be on the line and he will come through......at least that's what I hope and pray for. Our D is awesome but at some point, the offense has to bail them out

    speaking of turtle mode

bro Jax is not losing to the titans. Tenn wants that draft pick. Houston is looking hopefully 5 unless espn rigs the colts game to setup the end of a future Disney movie about rivers coming out of retirement.

I never play the "I'd rather play x" in the playoffs, that tends to bite you in the arse. That said...I don't want nothing to do with Baltimore if they get in. There is a lot of Texans hype for going on a run after starting 0-3, but the Ravens were 1-5 at one point. They are much healthier on defense than when we played them, and if you have a healthy Lamar Jackson? At Baltimore??

Buffalo at #6 is potentially a huge deal for the Texans because the Bills are, I think, the best team in the AFC, and will handle Jacksonville and New England.

So if the Texans can beat the Ravens/Steelers and Broncos (very viable), they'd get to host the AFC championship game if Buffalo does indeed win their first two games, which is, of course, GIGANTIC - for both the obvious reason but also because NRG is not Josh Allen's favorite place to play.

This is going to get REALLY interesting...

I would rather play any team in the AFC other than Baltimore, especially since it would be on their home turf. I’ll be pulling hard for Pittsburgh in the final game.

We won't play Denver in that scenario (if they finish 1st), it'll be the Bills. So our best bet is for the Bills to finish 7th, n they'll play New England in the WC n then Denver. If they win both, we'll have 'em at home. But if the Bills end up 6th, they'll play the Jags n then Denver

I mean, it's not really biting you in the ass bc it doesn't matter what you root for. None of us are part of what happens.

We're 0-2 against the patriots in the playoffs so I would prefer not to see them in the 1st round. We're also 0-2 against Baltimore but this would be the worst Ravens team we played in the playoffs.

That's right, that's right... they reseed, don't they? That's even better, honestly - I'd rather draw New England than Denver.

The Ravens aren't good tho. In the last 5 weeks they lost to the sorry Bengals, lost to the Steelers in a must win game at the time, at home, and lost to the Patriots who we know are frauds. They only beat a hapless Packers team without Micah and a backup QB, a Bengals team that started to quit already. They are 2-3 in the last 5 weeks, that is not good.

I think it's the combination of that stupid read - option play that puts the fear into our defense and myself too. It was after the Beyonce bowl that the quiet Hunter said we practiced stopping it the wrong way.

Need for Lamar Jackson to put his x rays and MRI on Twitter like Arian Foster.

1st (lets just assume it'll be Denver), plays the lowest seed remaining no matter what. So for instance if all of the wildcard teams make it to the divisional round, Denver will play the 7th seed. But if the Bills and the Chargers lose (in the wildcard game), then they'll play us, if we win our game.
