I would've positioned myself to draft a QB in rd 1. Probably would've sat still and drafted Dart, then let Dart sit for a year while CJ played QB. The one thing they will do is sign a middling QB to a big contract and not have much cap space to work with. It's a recipe for mediocrity.

 

Unless you sign a middling QB who has good players around him and has a career year

If demeco was Jim Smith from Kansas, this thread would not exist.

Ryan's is a top 7-8 coach who arguably is top 5.

His defenses show up, he minimizes the dumb nonsense and he can manage the game.


Stroud clearly needs work and Ryan's has managed it

DeMeco is getting better... remember he had no HC experience before. He was just a defensive maven. I think there has been less wtf clock management moments as of late. He is using his TOs better. We just need to have a seasoned offensive coordinator.
