Playoff seeding scenarios

They will be somewhere between #2 and #7, but they won't be #4

 

While technically the Texans can be #7, I give little chance that both the Colts and the Chargers win next week.

 

If Philly holds on we will be the 5th seed
and playing at Pitt or Bmore if all stays the same right?

 

I posted the following in the 25' season thread before seeing this thread:

If Buffalo loses today (currently down 13-0 at the half), Jacksonville wins next week, and we beat Indy next week, we should be the 5th seed, right? If so, we'll play at winner of Pitt/Baltimore and if we win, then we travel to likely #1 seed, Denver, right?

 

That's my understanding.

 

Regarding that last part: Depends on what you think the prospects of the 6/7-seed Chargers/Bills pulling 1st RD upsets. Either would face 1-seed in the NFL format where lowest advancing seed faces highest seed. Such a scenario could send 5-seed Houston to NE, JAX, or even find themselves hosting a 2nd round game

 

Hope the Texans get one of the Saturday games next weekend so they'll have a full week of rest when they play the WC game the following Saturday at 3:30.

If Lamar isn't available, they might be easier to beat than the Steelers.

 

Ravens D is ass, we might be able to score 24 on them.

 

Pull for DEN to beat LAC next week. That would knock LAC to 7th and put BUF at JAX. They can beat them. If so, then we would get NE in round 2 instead of DEN.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see us hosting BUF in the AFC title game.
