Don't forget that Penny was the premier point guard, 1st team all NBA defender, (also 1st team allNBA), and along with shaq carried the team to NBA finals as a 2nd year player. He was destined to become a perennial superstar, and even had a doll ! Who else in the NBA could claim that? haha but yeah, McGrady is the better player.
