Lol, typical Houston sports fans...in the playoffs, everyone was screaming to trade Jalen Green!!!
Are main problem is we're trying to force Amen and Reed to play point guard on a championship contender team...in my opinion, they're both playing out of position and its obvious in our latest production. The missing piece is FVV...Reed is not the answer and oh my gosh Okogie would not be starting on any other contending team!

 

I watched several suns games this season because I really like Dillon. And my conclusion is Jalen will thrive more in Jordan Ott's offensive system than Ime's. Rocket's lack of space makes it so hard for players like JG. Not to mention Ime is such a far worse coach at designing offense.
And I still can't forgive Ime didn't come up with any solution in the playoffs to help Jalen deal with being doubled after game 3.

 

zero adjustment and we played GS like 10-12x or something last year and they literally said after Game 3 what their gameplan was and Ime did zero but say well Amen and Alpi should win 4 on 3 … well Amen can score outside 5ft and Alpi was 2nd worse finishers inside 10ft in playoffs last year - all while GS doubled us up in 3pt attempts (the real reason we lost) they didn’t want to throw his BFF under the bus so they threw JG under the bus

lol 3 weeks ago a lot of people were saying we were the 2nd best team in the West, because we had the 2nd best record. Now that we've gone on a huge slump, everyone wants to jump ship.

A while ago before this whole shitshow started, I previously stated that we need someone like OG James Harden in this rotation to make this a contending team. Now it's looking like we need another weapon just to be in the Top 4 in the West.

 

Exactly. Stever Kerr was like:" JG got 38 in game 2? Then I have to double him to make him pass the ball."
And Ime was like:" You guys double him? Never mind, others can score too."
JG attempted like 10 shots a game for the last 3 games like a role player, even Ime himself said JG did a good job passing out the ball. Then when the series is over, everyone blamed the role player for the loss.

Yup. The problem is definately that we dont have a guy averaging 15/2/2 over 2 total games this season. Completely irreplaceable!
