You watched him for more than 20 games and only see him as no more than a spot up shooter? Did you actually watch?

He is best right now as a spot up shooter or operating off of multiple screens. Unless Ime suddenly has an epiphany and makes freeing Sheppard up for his incredible shooting as a priority, he is better operating off the ball. Anybody watching the last 5 games or so and thinking Reed isn’t getting targeted and failing on the defensive end is fooling themselves. He can, a small percentage of the time beat his man off the dribble, and he has shown progress in most aspects of the game, but acting like he is some type of panacea for our offensive woes, or FVV for that matter, is fools gold. To be clear, I’m not talking about your comments, Easy, as a find you one of the best most logical guys on this board. The players aren’t to blame for this horrible offense, it is the coaching. It is Ime’s responsibility to find a way to integrate Durant into this team not make everyone adapt to his iso centric offense and dubious defense.

Reed is not good at ISO ball. He just doesn't have the handle to beat a guy one on one. But he can use on ball screen to get to a midrange open space. That pull up shot is always there for him unless the other team bring an extra guy to stop him. That will open up other options. He has the vision to make the pass to an open man.

Yes, I blame the coaching for not maximizing Reed's talent, and Amen's too. It's also on Reed for his hesitance in taking shots when he's open. As for Amen, there's no other remedy unless he can master a midrange or a floater (or the footwork and a hook shot like Sengun's) when the defense greets him with a wall when he drives to the hoop.

Iso ball is ****ing stupid, so saying someone can't do it isn't an issue.... no one on the Rockets should be doing it.

It's how you see him. He is a cool player...but the draft is full of potentially cool players that would play against him.

Imma waiting on Kingston Flemings, Cougars own and Mikel Brown.
