I think Fox, Castle, Harper and Vassell won them the most games, Wemby just came in half of those games and impacted it...... Talking of it as if Wemby was the sole contributor or the main contributor, cannot be further from the Truth.
I’ve posted this a million times before here…but there’s been a ton of research on this, and it has nothing to do with weight…human beings are not designed to be taller than about 7’3”….when we are, regardless of weight, there’s physical breakdown. Manute Bol was really wiry…not heavy..not bulky…he suffered from the same **** that Yao did. Stress fractures…and once you get one, more are on the way. Wemby had some has a teenager. The history of players in the NBA who played taller than that is one marked by early injuries and early retirements. I do NOT want Wemby to miss a career or a day because of injury. I’m not wishing injury on him, cause **** him and go Rockets. Let’s just beat them. (Also he’s a human being and I don’t wish injury on anyone…though I’d be cool if Putin stubbed his toe tonight and it hurt real bad). But guys who play at his height historically do not last long at all, with few exceptions…and some of those exceptions were much heavier than Wemby. Watch the stress fractures..that’s how it goes.
No, he’s not. His size is Raph Sampson, Manute Bol, Shawn Bradley. Guys in that 7-5 to 7-7 range. he’s a whole lot taller than Garnet and has been injured every year so far. Even in his young age. So he’s already far from an Iron man lol what a wild statement.
wemby won't stay healthy enough for it to be a dynasty; they couldn't even win the nba cup lol. Not to mention their HC is a large unknown going into the playoffs
A stunning beatdown of the best team in the league with Wemby coming off the bench. 4 cornerstones under 25. It's over.
Wembayama, as officially stated, is 7'3 1/2" barefoot. I'm guessing the 1/2 inch is a dealbreaker? He's just very long limbed and athletic , making him look taller. No one of his height has his combination of fast twitch muscle fibers and athleticism, not even Kareem. BTW, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, another 7'3 ironman, standing next to Kobe. He has the same wingspan as Wembanyama. Time to eat humble pie and admit you were woefully wrong about Wemanyama's height. Likely out of envy for his potential.
I don't think it is dire, my wish would be that Spurs, OKC, Denver, Houston and a dark horse can split the Championships among themselves. Sounds all Kumbaya, it needed to be earned though.
