Something is going on internal with this team.

 

Every team goes through patches where they lose games. You don't win titles in December. Look at the "unbeatable" Thunder who have lost 3 of their past 5 games.

Was the KD trade still worth it?? There's a reason why KD couldn't win a championship before and after the Warriors

 

After I'm done with work today I'm literally going to go buy some snacks and go ball with the fellas on Christmas eve

At least we'll (probably) give more effort than the Rockets did tonight

 

Healthy Kawhi is a Top 5 player when you consider experience and clutch.

KD's clutch and leadership are both suspect.

Some players just are not winners. It's a combination of lacking clutch, IQ, and leadership.

 

Merry Christmas to you as well! I really, really hope the Rockets will give us something to cheer for against the Lakers. I know the sports team we support literally has 0 bearing on our real life, but the holiday season feels way worse when the Rockets are playing like ass.

 

I think the OKC also lost like 3 out of their last 4 games or something, how will they bounce back? lol it's just the ups and downs of the season man. They just gotta play better and be more focused for the entirety of the game. And defense has to be better. But I think this was our first blowout loss of the year. All the other losses were basically "choke" jobs, meaning we played down to competition and should have won. Hence, when it matters and when our players think it matters, they'll most likely naturally step up, one would hope anyway.

The loss definitely sucks, but the sky is absolutely not falling lol.

They just got torched by 2 legends that went off for 30, and 42.

I was sick for like 2 weeks so I tried to divide by 0 to see if it would work. Sue me I guess.

 

The only good thing about this poor play the last week or so is that it's still early in the season, not even the midway mark yet, so lots of times to figure things out and turn things away.

I hope the loss to the Kings humbled the players but I hope this loss to the clippers have humbled the coaching staff. Some of this stuff isn't working and its time to try some new things and a new mentality for the team overall.

 

I'm ok with that move, because our "best lineup" wasn't "cutting the mustard" as they say. He saw the bench players hustling and actually getting the lead down, but it wasn't our night and he let KD and Sengun rest for the Lakers game. I don't' have any issues not bringing back KD and Sengun back into this game at that point.

 

The best part is that we have time to look at the roster and tweak it. Sengun can't be relied on to be a point guard at centre. He does some silly turnovers at times when bringing it up and loses his footing.

 

I hate to say it, but I kind of agree. Their offensive efficiency is going the heck down once Jalen is back. You can take that to the bank lol.
