ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 12/23/2025

It's frustrating when an opposition hits contested shots.

A lot of the Clippers outside shots were not contested. Hard to be annoyed about that with regards to cursing luck.

Ime's defensive schemes are what needs to be cursed tonight.

The bottom 5 teams in the West now have beaten us that is something Coach Silas has done for us for many times. I rather lose to Nuggets because now it shows that this Rockets team only show up when they want to instead of committing night in and night out.

 

This week

 

because the owner is a fuking idiot putting his franchise in the hands of dumb&dumber

 

he played 2 games....................both against the Clippers

We came close but then the second quarter happened

 

last year it seemed like our offense sucked because we couldn’t shoot a lick and had no #1 option…this year we just look clueless

 

Can we please go back to a week off in between games

 

And usually I'm totally fine with him as a defensive coach! But the lack of effort and an odd defensive scheme contributed to the Clips hot shooting tonight as much as any natural variance over the course of a season.

And if our DEFENSIVELY ORIENTED head coach cannot get good defensive play out of this lineup, then what are we even looking at?

There are usually at least a few positive takeaways out of any game, but this one is was just all bad, all the way through.

Demeco still has a **** offense with his new OC but at least his defense is pretty good

Ime also has a **** offense …and his defense is also ****?
Hardhead also hired all his Celtic/Spurs/Portland buddies

This is largely his roster.

 

John Cena's retired and Ime Udoka will still not quit going all "hustle, loyalty, respect" after every loss.

 

I’d bench Amen and Jabari personally and plug in Eason.

You know what.

I've never thought like this before, but since you have said it it's dawned on me.

I genuinely have never taken any positive out of the several losses so far this season.

That speaks volumes to Ime.

Merry Christmas my Clutchfans friend. Not sure i'm going to be sober enough to deal with being on Clutchfans for the Christmas day game.

 

We were complaining that the Rockets only beat bad teams and lost to all the good teams earlier on in the season and the Rockets are now like “hey, we can lose to all the crappy teams too!}

 

If KD isnt traded by deadline he will ruin this team just like the others.
