    Get Wembanyama. Harper. Vassell. Castle.

    Some get Flagg.

    Some get Cunningham.

    And things just come together.

Others get Jabari Thompson and Jalen Green, and it all falls apart. They take reed Sheppard over Stephon Castle. Thompson has his moments but has to be a #3 option, possibly #4 on a contending team.

I'd ship Stone out along with the deadweight so we can get the draft right for once. Spurs (already are) and Mavs will be too far to catch up to talent wise by the time the season ends.

We had a choice in getting Flagg, Wemby, or Cunningham? I missed the memo

Jabari Thompson has seriously underwhelmed. Name the last good thing he did?

Putting Jalen in the Jabari category is insulting to Jalen. Castle will be better than Reed. Amen was the right choice given the options. But Jabari giving the output of a late first rounder set us so far back.

The hardest pill to swallow is the Mavs, with their r****d GM, shipped out generational talent Luka for nothing and somehow parlayed that into a #1 draft pick in a top heavy draft... and now have a brighter future than the clunky Rockets

The fact that there are STILL people who prefer castle to reed blows my mind, just clueless beyond words.

Trade your one superstar to LA, get gifted #1 pick immediately next draft.

Gumby was always going to the Spurs. Everyone saw that coming before that season even started. And he played on teams owned (or once owned) by Tony Parker & Boris Diaw.

But yeah, Rockets got the short end of the stick during their tank years.

I wouldn't go that far. Last year this was a 52 win team. I put the blame on the KD trade. We should've kept what we had and built around the margins by adding an additional veteran guard and using our 1st round pick in this past draft. We still would be struggling with the loss of FVV and Jalen's been injured too, but it would've been better to stay the course of building through the draft.
