Everyone can improve but also sometimes you can block improvement. It's not a given he'll improve. I don't know if he's the one in the way of hiring an offensive assistant but if I had to guess from his ego and what transpired with his last offensive assistant out-coaching him - I wouldn't be surprised.

Right now the staff looks like a bunch of his drinking buddies and yes men. It's time to grow up from that, we're contending for a title now.

It should have occurred to Stone or Udoka that an offensive assistant is necessary now. It would have saved us the last 50 games of fools gold with the double big lineup for example.

That's the problem with Ime. He eventually gets it but it takes forever and a lot of bad ideas on the way. Stone has to force it but I'm not sure he has the spine for it.

I told you guys he'll get a star and he won't be able to optimize them either. We already saw it with Tatum and Brown. It was never a star problem, it was always tactical issues. ISO basketball puts a band aid on his problems and passes the buck to the star - which is why now KD has to hear about his turnovers every day.

Very simple solution to get a great offensive assistant. He's great at coaching the other half of basketball (defense).

I think right now a lot of issues can tied to injuries and a young core learning how to be contenders. It is also Ime's job to figure it out and how to maximize the roster and he certainly needs to do a better job and find some solutions. Fortunately, we still have more than 2/3s of the season remaining to work it out. However, this also might not be a contending type season.

Ime Udoka really must tiring to listen to getting yelled at at everyday. At some point players will tune him out.
