I think he'll end up picked in the 3rd. I like him but LB isn't a premium position and I put Allen, Styles, Hill and Trotter above him myself. If one of those guys isn't there at the Texans own pick in round 2 I'd consider trading down (maybe get 2 3rds from Miami or Pittsburgh?) with Golday as the target.

His film looks good and if he tests well I think he's got a good shot at 2nd round or to sneak in late 1st. But if he doesn’t impress, then you're probably right.

After getting embarrassed by Trey McBride and Brock Bowers, I fully support using our second pick to take a good coverage LB.

With so many variants in playing requirements, I've begun to throw all the DBs (CB/LB/S) in one pot and let Demeco sort them out.

    20. Caleb Lomu OT Utah
    39. Iapani Laloulu OC Oregon
    44. Anthony Hill Jr. LB Texas
    65. Oscar Delp TE Georgia
    107. LJ Martin RB BYU

None of the guards I liked were around and I traded back up to get Hill

I wonder who’s this years Grey Zabel or Quinyon Mitchell at the senior bowl practice.

It will be EXTREMELY difficult to pass on Kayden McDonald if we're picking at 23 and he's available. That dude is a MONSTER DT. So, I went with him in this mock.

As long as we end up with Anthony Hill Jr. I think he will have a K Lassiter impact. (who I've been a buy on from the beginning). I actually think Hill Jr. will climb out of reach with draft metrics measured, but if we get him, I'm immediately driving straight to Academy to wait for a jersey. :D

Azeez and Anthony Hill Jr would be lethal. Demeco would finally have his Navorro Bowman/Patrick Willis or Fred Warner/ Dre Greenlaw type linebackers. Not to that extent but very good. Very intimidating.

Team needs help on both sides of interior line and a linebacker to play next to Azeez. Also think they need another playmaker on offense

    Yep,

    OL/DT/RB/TE/LB/S

They should be able to fill these needs in FA/Draft.

Tunsil is most likely out this week and Wash is starting their 3rd string QB (Mariota out)
