Rest in peace, first and foremost. It appears that their son, Nick, battled addiction and homelessness for quite awhile. Still, there's no excuse for killing your parents, especially in such a personally-brutal way. And yet, you'll have every member of that vile cult defending this sundowning excuse for a human. He's not a president; he's the most abysmal embarrassment the world has ever seen step foot in the white house . I have respect for Republicans that can disagree while having competency related to issues. I have nothing but disrespect for those associated with maga and support this type of behavior. Complicity with this man and movement is unforgivable. The poor Reiner family...jeez. I even loved his small part in The Wolf of Wallstreet (I think that was him)
It was him as Leo DeCaprio's dad. The one who had a conniption about their expenses. Was a hilarious scene. He's responsible for so much art. So many great movies. What happened is absolutely terrible and a horrible tragedy. It's a f***ing shame what we're talking about is the reaction of this abomination of a human being who also happens to be the President of the United States. It's been "0 days since being an international embarrassment" since January 20th...and we have 1,129 more of them to go.
I rewatched few good men last night and its easily one of the best courtroom dramas of our lifetime. What a masterpiece the film was. They don't make movies like that no more
An incomprehensible tragedy that has robbed us of a gentle genius. A man who gave untold millions pleasure with his artistry. His work certainly gave it to me. Rest in peace.
I still remember this, gotta love YouTube, I wasn't a fan of All In The Family, before my time. My older sister was a big fan so I got this joke when he randomly appeared on the Gary shandling show
Looks like they were killed by stabbing. When I heard about it being their son, without really thinking about it, I assumed that’s how they were murdered.
This may be another one of those shows I have to re-visit years later only to find out a show I hated is one I love when I got older. I never really cared for Garry Shandling back then because he always looked like somebody ironed his face with a hot iron while he sucked on a pickle and drank vinegar. To compound it, his delivery was always so whiny. No offense.
more people will be killing their parents soon. When you have an unprecedented transfer of wealth incoming, things happen. https://abc7ny.com/post/estranged-s...eli-bethpage-long-island-police-say/18254191/
Rest in peace to both. Wow, so sorry for his daughter and others. Amazing talent with fantastic work over his career.
Op-Ed: Rob Reiners tragic passing is a reminder of how much we need ICE However, it was Jack Nicholson's character in A Few Good Men - Colonel Jessup , that Reiner was most fond of. And several iconic lines stood out, including him screaming out in court... "You want the truth... you can't handle the truth!" about the necessity of armed guards at the border and the need to enforce laws. "Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You?" Nope, it's the brave men and women of ICE. The brave men and women of the Armed forces. "You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall." . "We use words like 'honor,' 'code,' 'loyalty.' We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline." It emphasized duty, honor, and the necessity of harsh realities for freedom that new age liberals take for granted, contrasting it with the superficiality of liberals pretending they aren't needed.
Amended for 2025 Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse ICE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall -- you need me on that wall. We use words like "honor," "code," "loyalty." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. Elitist liberals use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you're entitled to!
The Princess Bride was a great movie. Saw it in the theater with my cousins. I remember I was kinda pissed because there was something else I wanted to see. However, I was with my cousins, one of which was a 10 year old girl, and so we saw this movie. We were all totally blown away
