I think the biggest problem is them trying to push real world issues from our exact timeline into powerful plot points thinking we will be able to relate. The white powerful real estate tycoons of our time are evil capitalist men while the witty lesbian greaving women is hero...
Just watched the first 4 episodes, but honestly, I'm not invested anymore. I don't remember anything that happened. I had to google who certain characters were because I forgot them. Like others said, the gaps between seasons really kills the buzz.
I don’t typically recall each season of the show, but I did this time. I thought season 4 was probably the best they’ve done. Always an enjoyable show. Nothing groundbreaking but it’s a good time. First 4 this season were good enough for me, 4 more sounds perfect

No. It’s an option for people who want to see the movie-length finale on the big screen. It’s not anything new for Netflix.
