I just saw some Kon highlights. I didn’t realise how good he’s playing. He’ll probably be rookie of the year.
Knueppel is looking like what Miller was supposed to be. Miller has been pretty disappointing. He's honestly been worse than I expected, and my expectations for him were below the consensus during Amen's draft (I had Amen clearly above him on my board). With the way Reed is playing I don't see any need to even think about trading for LaMelo right now. We'll see how things go as the season progresses.
Yeah, I watch a ton of Hornets basketball living in NC and feel the same way. Miller is a lot closer to a Harrison Barnes type than he is to any of the Tatum/PG/Granger comparisons he was getting going into the draft. There’s still time, though. Not a bad player.
Durant-like efficiency his first 18 games playing for the most toxic franchise in basketball is pretty special. If he improves at all, he could put up a 50/40/90 in his ROOKIE season. If I'm the Hornets GM, I'm trading Ball to highest bidder ASAP, guy is not a winner.
Hornets are a garbage team, and have been garbage for many years, yet their home games always look more packed in the lower bowl and their fans a lot louder and more engaged than what we have at TC
that play by play caster they have, Eric Collins, is so so good, unhinged. I wish we had someone like him
People have a hard enough time not complaining about Tari being injured. We’re not ready for LaMelo Ball.
One game winner doesn’t change the fact that LaMelo on this team would be a disaster (and guaranteed overpay).
Everyone on the Team would get easy baskets from LaMelo Ball passing, instead of halfcourt Iso ball. Fast break points is a problem, along with a faster tempo. Reed Sheppard getting constantly benched by Ime Udoka hurts the team and gives the opponent a huge advantage every time. Ime Udoka loves to play a very slow pace basketball way too much. If Ime Udoka gets a 4/5 seed and early playoff exit. Ime Udoka should get fired.
I would rather tank for 5 more years than have Ball on this team. I can't think of a player in my lifetime that I have disliked as much as Lamelo. I admit he has talent, but it comes at a toxic price when he isn't injured.
