I was going to suggest starting a petition to bring back KLOL, but someone beat me to it. I'm not sure how much of an effect this will have on a multi-billion dollar company, but atleast the collective rock voice will be heard. http://www.petitiononline.com/rock101/petition.html
Anybody know where I can get a list of companies that advertise with CC? I want to boycott those companies too.
I wonder why more radio stations don't stand up to Clear Channel and tell them to **** off. 93.7 here in Austin is the local "classic rock" station. I was listening to them last night and they have an ad for the station where they declare they are not associated with Clear Channel and never will be. It's nice to know there is at least one radio statio out there that feel the same way as we do about CC.
Well you can start with Coke. Pepsi. Miller, Budweiser, Coors. The US Military. The chronicle. Every concert. Lipton. shiner. Levis. Johnson and Johnson. Merck. Trojan. Every Tittie bar in Houston. The list goes on forever and we would basically be left drinking water out of a pond and grazing on grass. clm
As long as I can still eat Reece's Peanut Butter Cups, Whataburger, Drink Woodchuck Cider, YooHoo, and Dr. Pepper (not all at once) and play XBox, that's cool with me.
Are you doing the petition because you think it will make a difference, or because it makes you feel good?
feel good. When I feel smited, responding makes me feel... well... not better, but not as bad. -- droxford
what happened over at 102.3 in austin? they still play classic rock, but there are no DJ's (AWESOME!) and they play some other types of rock.
