Meh. The only reason Durant is turning it over so much is because either he has decided or Ime has told him to take the fewest 3PA he's taken in over 12 years - so he's under pressure to go into the most crowded paint he's seen in his life. Taking 4 3PA attempts in 2025 means you might as well call Durant an average 3PT shooter. Making 39% of just 4 attempts is a dime a dozen in the NBA. Jesus the whole point of acquiring him was to take jumpers OVER THE TOP of Ime's offense. Everyone was assuming that as he ages and when he joins a team desperate for 3's, he would probably take a career high.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team has decided they are all Kevin Durant. We lead the league in attempts from 10 to 19 feet. From 10 to 14 we're shooting a garbage 41% but I've never in my life heard Udoka say we take too many middies. A carry-over mistake from last season. I don't mind honing this skill in some guys (Bari, Sengun) but when the game is on the line we can't be living and dying by a 41% shot ffs.

We need an offensive coach who's not living in 1992.

 

“Our star” had a 33 points on 27 shots for a 55% TS. Want me to pull up Jokics stats?

I said I agreed about Ime, but misspoke on the rest of it. I think we will get a top 4 seed, but get bounced in the first round, because of Ime.

CTE kerr has been horrible lately. Warriors r one of the matchups i want.

 

Nobody mention that Adams didn't get any rebounds but still got rewarded 15 minutes.

 

I think he is very good in certain areas and in his own right but the modern coaches just passed him by hard.

I said it, he would still win tons of games with stars but I am not excited.

People are very confused why KD did not take any shot in OT?

KD refused to shoot as well in 1st loss to Nuggets.

 

Rockets best case scenario this season (unless PG is upgraded externally) is losing WCF (maybe 7-game 2nd), then coming back strong with FVV and experience next year. Don't recall any young 1st-round team jumping to a championship or the Finals the following season. Also we really ought not push KD much this season, or ever for that matter - too old, too many miles, too long a contract. Low-30 min/game

Ime Udoka can't do neither, plus acquire 1 Young Star, 3 Role Players.

Ime Udoka is a limited Coach that can't learn, grow, evolve. He is stuck in Gregg Popovich benching Star Players the whole game, literally throwing games on purpose.

Small rotation, limited skillset of players.

 

That last foul in regulation was complete bs.

 

Ime is good. You aren’t thinking clearly in my opinion.
