all the road closure and construction around toyota center is not helping whatsoever. it will get worse as they continue with the I-45 reroute.

downtown houston is a mess right now. with the whole world baseball classic and world up coming up, good luck navigating downtown safely.

 

Absolutely. We came into the season extremely deep. Right now we are giving significant minutes to Holiday and Capella. Tari’s shooting and defense off the bench is sorely missed. Who knows what DFS is going to bring. I think we should at least explore a backup insurance guard. Reed’s defense has regressed and 90 year old Batum manhandling him makes me nervous. Add that to Okogie shooting woes lately and we have a significant hole if there is another injury. We don’t need a Jrue, but could use a Conley or Alvarez type.

 

It's been helpful that regard for sure. It does make me a bit concerned that we're backloading the heavier part of the schedule though. Means we're going to have a lot of B2Bs and heavy weeks leading up to the playoffs.

 

My suggestion: Park and ride on the Red Line light rail and get off at Bell Station, 4 block walk to TC (about 5 minutes)

That I-45 project is some BS. F*** TXDoT and f*** the Texas state government and their backwards 1960s approach to infrastructure.

I've been certain another guard is coming since early in the season. It would be irresponsible for them not to bring someone in.

100% guaranteed it will be someone who can hit open 3s. I believe they will prioritize that over a "floor general" type.

They should get a "3 and D" or a "3 and floor general" player. I'm too lazy to speculate or research who might be available.

If DFS returns and rounds into form, he fits the 3 and D role perfectly but he isn't a guard.

 

It was Shut Up and Sengün says for a while.

 

They should start the games at 7:30, in my opinion. At least experiment with it and see if that helps get fans in their seats earlier. I’ve never understood the fixation with starting games at 7pm. If it’s to “capture” those fans working downtown, it doesn’t appear to be working.

My favorite moment of the game was Reed passing it to Alpi on the perimeter, then Alpi not wanting the pass, passing it right back encouraging Reed.
