This sounds fairly reasonable, except for the "requires schools to notify parents" part. If a child is not telling their parents about their gender or sexual identity, there's probably a pretty good reason for that and I do not support schools being involved in that family dynamic at all.

If this is 'grooming into homosexuality' then how it a book about Mr. and Mrs. Claus not 'grooming into heterosexuality"?

This is what the bluehaired nosering alphabet brigade mean when they talk about "heteronormativity".

In the eyes of the state and the law, you cannot treat heterosexuality like it is the 'standard/normal' way of being and treat homosexuality like it is a choice and immoral.

Also, using words like 'grooming/groomer' is a deliberate attempt to associate anything queer with child predation, which is a truly ****ing vile thing to do and you're a bad person for doing it.

Discomfort and shame of our bodies is a particularly American thing, but I think most parents would agree this is not something that should be presented to, let alone recommended, to children.

Recommending, showcasing, or assigning these books is a hell of a lot different than just simply having them available, or linked to under some sub-site of a sub-site gender/sex queer resources page.

This Brenden Jones guy sounds like a total moralizing gasbag who is probably projecting so hard to cover up a life full of sin. He even looks like the prototype of a Republican blowhard.
