Best guess Houston currently has picks:
    (1) 17
    (PPI) 28
    (2) 58
    (3) 97
    (4) 127
    (Comp) 144

Using the current version of MiLB.com's Draft Board, that equates to:

    17. Logan Schmidt HS LHP (age 17 at draft)
    28. Eric Booth Jr. HS OF (17)
    58. Cole Koeninger HS SS/RHP (18)
    97. Cole Prosek HS 3B (19)

Although the ranking will change numerous times between now and the draft, this would not be a bad result

“What an amazingly smart organization.”… first thing I heard today about the Dodgers… it gets old. They don’t have a closer in 2024 even though they spend literally billions… so last Winter they give the top closer 4/72… he sucks so they then give the top closer on the market 3/90 million…. And I am supposed to be so overly impressed? They make mistakes - but financially can fix them with no consequences. They sign and trade for pitchers that fall apart and it doesn’t matter because they just go out and get more…. Japan has the most top end talent in the world right now and they all just go to LA….. you should win and win almost all the time with the advantages the Dodgers have.

They certainly aren’t poorly ran but there is no magic from them other than limitless resources.

Yes and what makes it worse is the Dodgers and their fans complaining.

They need to keep those and really should look at trying to trade for any other comp picks. The strength of Brown is drafting and assembling a player development staff….give him picks.
