2025 Season Texans General Discussion Thread

Of course the two teams with home field advantage this year are not powerhouses but just happen to play in and are used to potentially horrible climates.

I would rather Sweat come down with the Keyonte George flu and miss just one game.

I compare it to the Astros against oil cans last season

 

Since 1990, only 2.4% of teams starting 0-3 have made the playoffs, including the 2018 Texans. After starting 0-3, the 2025 Texans have improved to 8-5.

 

Just a random thought. Demeco is going to get A LOT of guys paid lol. Even from just his short time here you can see him raise the value of guys because they perform in his defense.

Hopefully moving forward it makes us a destination for defensive players too.

 

Hopefully we don't loose to many good players next season with all the extensions coming.

 

Unfortunately, I think they still get in

 

don't want to see Lamar/Mahomes/Allen in the playoffs

would rather face Lawrence/Herbert/Rivers/Rogers/Maye/Nix

Like someone here said, football gods make it so that it comes down to the last game between us and the Colts whereby we are already in and losing to the ponies results in KC missing playoffs. Then for the lulz we start Graham Mertz, Dare and let Caley be HC for the day.

 

I think we can pencil in the Colts to finish 8-9 after starting off 7-1. What a train wreck.

 

Heck of a year for Tytus. Seems like a great team guy.

 

It's all on Stroud if we don’t win the Super Bowl. We should go with Mills from here on out and trade Stroud after the season.
