lol, you are very welcome- i have you on and off the ignore list as i find you as fascinating as you find the "morons" on here. it is not that you criticize players on a team you claim to support, it's the zealous crusading against players that is amazeballs. after a while tho, it's gets super boring as you just repeat the same opinion over and over and over... so i gotta you cut you off for a bit. keep being weird and gross, it is very entertaining.
And this is not the worst problem from a "reasonable hope for quick improvement" perspective. The line is not going to miraculously become great. CJ isn't going to be the best read and recognition guy out there or develop a cannon. So the hope is to just get better at basic things where our offense is just so deficient at right now, and while not all of those basic things can be improved on greatly, some can - not wasting timeouts, getting the plays in, having faster ways to check out of plays. Maybe we can start scoring in the low 20's on the regular. This win was great, but we can't count on the defense to bail out the offense every game.
Think about it, if this offense were completely competent, you are likely looking at an AFC Champion at least, seriously. Especially this season with the Chiefs, Ravens, and Bengals on the sidelines.
There are no scary teams in the AFC so they can still become champions this year if they get lucky. They can't beat the nfc team in the Superbowl tho especially if it's the Rams. They have a good defense and a competent offense with Stafford and a legit coach in McVay. The Rams have us beat in every way besides defense but it's small
We're 8-5 and I think we'll win three of our remaining 4 games, which would give us an 11-6 record. I think this is most likely. Do you agree?
This reminds me of a game years ago where Texas A&M played Oklahoma and they ran some gimmick offense with the center and QB in a shotgun, two guards like 3 yards off the center and the tackles out like wide receivers. A&M could not figure out what to do. I'm yelling at the TV to just put two guys over the center and end this madness. If they are sending 8 every time, it's a gimmick, and they couldn't figure it out. You are playing 3 on 3 with the receivers, that should be cake. Go shotgun, move a couple guys into the backfield to block, run a quick slant with a pick and you have a touchdown. Block it like a punt if you have to, but give the QB the 2.5 seconds it takes for Nico to stiff arm a guy on a slant to get open. This isn't rocket science.
[Schefter] Sources: Chiefs LT Wanya Morris suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday night vs. the Texans.
Rams barely won a home game against the Texans this season. They're not a sure bet. Texans oline, as poor as it is, should be better than Week 1 more so than any other team just from familiarity.
This team has a 12-5 record in sight, the way Arian Foster had an open field an only a free safety to beat for the end zone. We can do it, the numbers say we fall just short, but man am I optimistic.
Y’all do know there’s an ignore button, right? I see people getting upset all the time but don’t really understand why until I realize..oh yeah it’s that **** I ignore
My son says all the time that Stroud rarely has even 3 seconds to look at the defense from the time the play is called in and they step to the line. It’s insane…been a problem all season. We had to blow a timeout on it last night..and then got penalized for it later. Our OC is so in over his head right now…but here we are…and we win regardless.
Yeah, we were 80+% to make the playoffs with a win according to the graphics they showed all night, and that's before the Daniel Jones injury.
