It certainly helps that 3 of our losses are to NFC teams. Have a chance to go 10-2 vs the AFC, which bodes well for the playoffs. Pats have one of lowest DVOAs for an 11-2 team in history (the rest of the list crapped the bed in the playoffs) and Bo Nix is very hit or miss.

It's really just Buffalo getting hot that scares me. Even then Allens played his worst game against us when he won MVP last year. Our real bugaboo under this regime has been Lamar and he's either more injured than the Ravens are saying or is yet another hyper athletic QB who fell apart at 29-30.

We should have lost this game. There were two catches that were drops that could have extended drives for Mahomes. The one by Rice was an easy catch and the one by Hunt.

Caley better get his **** together. He got lucky tonight and that **** is not going to pass when we get to the playoffs.

I remember after that 9 to 14 loss against the Rams the first week thinking WTF kind of a game was that.

I thought it was some sort of weird anomaly. But that game told us exactly what this team was in hindsight. And even then, looking back, that's probably the best team in the NFC, and we held them completely in check.

If only this team could average 25 points a game. We'd legitimately be super bowl favorites right now.

The group of best teams in the league we've played, we've probably lost by a total of two scores. We could easily have only two losses right now.

For once, I can definitely say that this team is one of the legitimate top five teams in the NFL. But it still sucks to keep saying if only. Classic Texans. Huge win, but in the back of my mind, I feel like we can't even get to the AFC Championship game because we will be so thoroughly outcoached by a good defensive coordinator that it will overcome our insanely good defense.

You know what's the good thing when the Texans play the Cards and Raiders? Theyre going to try their best to lose those games. Gotta get that #1 pick...both those teams desperately needs it.

Yup. Don't ignore in victory what we wouldn't ignore in defeat.

Man O Man, this D is keeping us alive, so dam proud and at the same time I can't ignore that this offense is just not that good, don't get me wrong we had some really good plays but CONSISTANTLY going 3 and out is going to come back to bite us in the a$$...................cant ignore going 0-3 to this and IMO its 100% on the DEFENSE........................the Pitre hit is one for the ages and IMO the receivers heard "footsteps" from then on. Kudos to the D, we will only go as far as you take us

I'm going to let you finish but....
Unfortunately, Texans have lost to the team picking #1 in 2023 and 24'.
    Lack of fokas.
It is different this year. In 4 of the losses, It hasn't been about underestimating the opposition. Just the pesky 3ft runs and not being able to punch it in.

Is this the best defense since the 2002 Bucs?

This is just next level preparation. The opposition is unable to to provide sufficient obstacles for our team, so we create them ourselves.

We are doing a great job preparing to overcome obstacles in the post season.

I don't think it's over for the Chiefs. Chargers and their qb can still do what they always do and cough up that playoff spot. Chiefs fans will be cheering for us 3 weeks from now. I don't want to help

Wow, so you're blaming him for 2 passes that hit the hands of his receivers and were dropped in an effort to deflect blame from a QB that couldn't throw accurate passes all night long.

The Chiefs receivers had 6 drops, the primary reason they lost the game, the Texans had 0.

You are a special kind of special.

Our OC got outcoached in the second half.

I really did not give y'all much of a chance at Arrowhead, especially given how much the NFL would love to have KC in the playoff hunt, but damn: I stayed out of the thread, like promised, and H-Tine holds it dine. Congrats, all!

It's kinda sad for me though. I love visiting the Texans' threads during games, but I'm just bad medicine for the team's overall voodoo.

    203 yds, 1 TD vs 160 yds, 3 INT

Maybe if KC had a real QB he would pass the ball to the end zone

Oh, and Mahomes had more time to throw all night.

Bobby has an agenda because he has already committed that Stroud is a bad QB. Stroud had 10x more pressure than Mahomes last night and ultimately made way more "Mahomes" plays than Mahomes last night. He was also by far the best QB last night, but you won't admit that because again, your ego is delusional to whatever take your brain comes up with in the moment. You are wrong, per usual.
