    Hot take: TWBB is... not a very good movie. I like the director's work in general, but this one was all over-directed and over-acted, a grim melodrama with no dramatic tension.

    Dano has that one of a kind face....lol...punchable but not that bad of an actor.

    I can understand someone saying that There Will Be Blood is not their cup of tea, but I can't understand how someone could watch it and think Dano was terrible. He did exactly what he was supposed to do and was great. Tarantino saying this crap a decade+ later feels like maybe there is something personal there. Perhaps Dano turned him down or they have some unreported beef.

    Not sure how well my sarcasm meter is working atm so I’ll just say that dano was the perfect foil for ddl’s evil as the dano character sweats evil like a scared weasel. Quid pro quo, great movie
